You can easily edit, organize, pin, or delete announcements from the 'announcements homepage'. On the announcements homepage you will find an overview of all your published and unpublished announcements.
- Click on the arrow behind Announcements.
- Click 'Go to Announcements Tool'.
- Click on the arrow behind an Announcement to:
- To edit (Edit). You have the same options as when creating an Announcement (aanmaken van een).
- To view (View).
- Make it invisible on Course Homepage or restore it (Dismiss in Widget/Restore).
- To pin the announcement to the top of the list (Pin to top).
- To delete (Delete).
- To copy (Copy)
- To delete multiple Announcements at once, select the desired Announcements by checking the Announcements check boxes. Then click 'Delete'.
- You select all Announcements at once with the checkbox next to Title. Then click 'Delete'.
- Do you want to recover a deleted Announcement? Then click on 'More actions' and then on 'Restore'. Select the Announcements you want to restore and click 'Restore'.
When editing an Announcement, you can ensure that all participants in your course are immediately notified of the updated Announcement. To do this, in the Edit Announcement screen, check in the General part the option Major edit: send a notification and restore it for those who dismissed it.
