In the Content menu of your course you can add course material like links. A link allows you to easily guide a student to information from an external source.

You can add link using the icon Add QuickLink, everywhere you see the menu bar above.
This menubar is visible with: HTML-documents, Tests, Discussions, Assignments, Module pages, etc.

- Choose one of the internal sources where you can place a link.
- If you want to add a link to an external source, you need to use URL.

- Enter the URL you need
- Select how to open it
- Click Insert
- Always check Open as External Resource if the url starts with https://. If this is the case, then you should check New window. Otherwise, a blank page is displayed in Brightspace.
