You can add any existing colleague from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences to your sandbox. When adding, you can indicate which role the user has in your sandbox, including: Course Owner, Instructor or Student.
The Sandbox is located in the production environment of Brightspace. Only you have access by default. It is possible to add other person(s) as long as they are actual Brightspace users. We recommend that you to only add person(s) after you have consulted them. Once a person has been added to your Sandbox, your Sandbox will appear among the person's courses, and that person will immediately have access to your Sandbox.
Adding users
- Click on the 'Group List' in your course's navigation bar.
- Click 'Add Participants' and then 'Add Existing Users'
- Under 'search for' enter (part of) the name or personnel code of the colleague you are looking for. Then click 'enter' (on your keyboard) or the magnifying glass icon.
- Select the desired person(s).
- Click on the arrow next to 'select a role' and select which role the colleague will have in your sandbox. Note: based on the role you select, the colleague can/cannot do certain things in your sandbox.
- Click 'Enroll Selected Users'.
You have now added the colleague to your course and you can find them in your class list.
The colleague now sees your Sandbox in his/her courses and has direct access to your Sandbox.
